Senators Charles Grassley and Lindsey Graham have been busy studying the Obama administration’s emails that have only recently been released to them.
A particular email caught their eye. It was written by Obama’s National Security Advisor, Susan Rice, and sent to of all people, herself only moments after Donald Trump had taken the oath of office on January 20, 2017.
The email appears to be a deliberate attempt to create a trail of something that never happened.
Rice wants us to believe that 15 days after a January 5, 2017 meeting involving former President Barack Obama, ex-Vice President Joe Biden, then-FBI Director James Comey, then-Deputy Attorney General Sally Yates, former Vice President Joe Biden, and Rice, she suddenly felt it necessary to recap that meeting in an email.
According to a letter written by Sens. Lindsey Graham and Chuck Grassley, Rice wrote to herself that Obama “wants to be sure that, as we engage with the incoming team, we are mindful to ascertain if there is any reason that we cannot share information fully as it relates to Russia” and that Obama “reiterated that our law enforcement team needs to proceed as it normally would by the book.”
WTF? The most anti-American administration in our nation’s history was voted out of office and two weeks before they leave town they’re meeting to consider whether they’ll allow our intelligence agencies to share information with Trump?
What further proof is needed to conclude that they had stay behinds planted everywhere if they thought they’d be able to keep intel from the new president?
Rice further wrote:
“President Obama began the conversation by stressing his continued commitment to ensuring that every aspect of this issue is handled by the intelligence and law enforcement communities “by the book.”
What is the world could’ve possessed her to write this so that investigators might later find it? And they call Trump dumb? This wasn’t some low level junior bureaucrat who wrote it. It was Obama’s National Security Advisor.
Judge Napolitano explains the absurdity of Rice’s action considering the timing of when she authored it:
Judge Nap: “She’s obviously trying to rewrite history. She’s trying to make it look like something happened that didn’t happen.
“So, you’re a juror in a courtroom and you learn that an event occurred on January 5, and that one of the people at the event, sixteen days later decides to write a memo summarizing what happened at the event. She writes the memo after Barack Obama is out of office. It’s 12:15 in the afternoon; his term ended fifteen minutes earlier, after she no longer had a job.
“My suspicion, and I think Senator Graham shares this as well, is that they learned something between January 5th and January 20th, which caused them to want to change the narrative about this meeting.
“None of us knew about this meeting. There’s no reason for anybody to know about the meeting. It’s a private, secret meeting in the Oval office suddenly word comes out and why would by the book be in quotations. Who would believe this?
“There’s only one person who could’ve told her to write the email and she keeps falling on her sword for him. Remember when she went all of the networks with the crazy narrative about Benghazi was caused by a video? We know that’s not true. And the case she made about Bergdahl serving with honor and that’s not true.
“But, these things were stated to backup statements previously made by her boss, Barack Obama.
“It might be an incredible sense of loyalty to him even though the time she wrote it, the manner in which she wrote it, and the use of quotations she could very well be in trouble herself. She was apparently a participant at that meeting.
“So now the question arises, what was agreed to at that meeting?
“Did James Comey write a memo to himself after the meeting was over?”
(Interjection by interviewer: “he writes his memos immediately after these meetings”)
Judge Nap: “Which is what you’re supposed to do. The waiting of the sixteen days is extremely suspicious.
“We’ve been doing this for about four weeks and every week more and more is coming out. It’s becoming more and more apparent that there was a group of people in the federal government using the machinery of government to frustrate Donald Trump from becoming president.”
Rice’s actions would seem to be more the result of suffering through a sleepless night – or a series of sleepless nights – as the reality that the Obama administration’s felonious assault on our Constitution was soon going to be exposed for the entire world to see.
How she thought this was going to help is hard to envision but desperate times make for desperate action. And being deprived of sleep doesn’t help either.
What sweet justice it would be if this email takes down Rice and Obama. After all, if she hadn’t tried to memorialize that meeting, no one would’ve ever known it took place.
